At 9:20 a.m. on May 20, 2019, the Summit County medical examiner said that Stefanie had died at Akron General Hospital. Around 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to Township Road 429 because of an ATV accident.

West of Hilltop Drive, they were driving when all of a sudden, the driver lost control of the car. The car went off the road and hit a tree on the side head-on.

Four people were in the 2017 Polaris RZR car when it crashed hard. The driver, Austin Zinkon, died at the scene, but Micah Busby and Emily Ditto were taken to hospitals and treated for minor injuries.

But Stefanie, who was driving with Austin in the passenger seat, was not so lucky. Her head was badly hurt when the car hit something. When she was taken to the hospital, there was just too much blood coming from her head to do anything.

Police reports said that drunk driving was the main reason why the terrible accident happened. They left the party after drinking a lot, and there were some empty bottles on the site.
