Jim Belushi, American actor, comedian, singer and musician, has an estimated net worth of $50 million.

When Jim earned his college diploma in 1977, he joined the second city comedy troupe. His career was greatly supported by the band that previously trained his older brother.

After attending one of Jim’s second shows in the city, producer Garry Marshall decided to cast him in his first television role.

He worked with The Second City, a Chicago-based theater company, from 1977 until 1980. He made his television debut in 1978’s “Who’s watching the kids,” and also had a minor role in Brian De Palma’s “The Fury.” His first significant role came after the death of his older brother from a drug overdose in Michael Mann the Thief.

He also revealed the University of Illinois football team’s starting lineup during the 2008 broadcast of the Rose Bowl on ABC.

Prior to the 2008 World Championships, he also organized a demonstration to celebrate the Chicago Cubs postseason series.
