A social media rumor about Andrea Mitchell having a brain tumor appears to be false.
On the other hand, a routine examination led the journalist to be diagnosed with breast cancer, which she later revealed on MSNBC 2011.
Official news reported that the treatment received by the TV journalist was effective due to early detection.
According to her, Reuters reported, she was planning to hike in Wyoming last week, but instead learned that she is now one of the most amazing women in this country diagnosed with breast cancer.
Andrea also confirmed that her cancer had not spread elsewhere, and stated that her prognosis was “remarkable,” although she did not specify her treatment plan.
Andrea continued to encourage other women to examine their bodies.
