Before attempting to kill his fiancée, Sam Shelton and Ashley Reeves made plans for their wedding.

A teenage girl was attempted to be strangled by Sam Shelton, who then abandoned her and said he had made a mistake. However, a jury didn’t consider him credible. The couple was about to tie the knot.

Ashley Reeves, 17, who was attacked by Shelton, 26, in April 2006, is shown as a real-life incident in the current Lifetime movie “Left For Dead.” Reeves was found in a thickly wooded park more than 30 hours after Shelton tried to strangle her with a belt and broke her neck with his forearm, according to a report from CBS News at the time.

Plans for Sam Shelton and Ashley Reeves’ Wedding

Given their age difference, Sam Shelton and Ashley Reeves’ engagement surprised everyone in the vicinity. Unfortunately, since the latter vanished, this was never achievable in reality.

Shelton allegedly tried to murder Ashley Reeves in 2006. She endured the brutal murder attempt despite spending 30 hours in the frigid weather.

Shelton, the female instructor at the center college, was enticing the woman and leading her into a committed sexual relationship. At the time of the attack, she eventually located him and informed him that their toxic relationship needed to cease.

He choked the woman again until it finally snapped, thinking she had given up. He then abandoned the woman for dead in the insane. She had been abandoned in the woods for 30 hours and had sustained terrible injuries.

The woman was taken to the hospital despite the fact that the police initially believed she had fled when they found her, despite the fact that she had moved.

What has become of Sam Shelton?

Sam Shelton was given a 20-year term to life in prison. He had been detained first as a young suspect, but after realizing he was the most trustworthy person to speak with Reeves, the detectives freed him.

When requested to wait for 12 hours, he revised their explanation multiple times before giving up. He finally admitted he had made a reference to Ashley and had insulted her.

He led the policemen to the spot where he had left the woman despite forgetting the exact location. Thankfully, police found the woman and took her to the hospital. They had been apprehended, and Reeves had been found.

He was placed under home detention for a year with the option to post bail while making preparations for the test. Throughout the entire year, Sam made just one attempt to terminate his life. In 2007, he consented to a plea agreement.

Sam Shelton: A Teacher or Not?

Sam Shelton did work as a teacher. Sam, who was a professional wrestler and a gym trainer, used to tutor Ashley when she was in the seventh grade. Two months after she disappeared, in February 2006, the two reconnected, according to insiders.
